Stree 2, set to hit theatres on August 15, will see Shraddha Kapoor and gang fight Chanderi’s new villain.

The storyline opens to the people of Chanderi gripped with the fear of a witch named Stree.
The ghostly woman haunts the village during a festival, abducting men without a trace.
Meanwhile, Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) falls in love with a woman (Shraddha) who is suspected to be Stree by his friend Bittu.
The suspicion grows after Vicky and Bittu’s friend Janna gets abducted.
To rescue him, Vicky, Bittu and Rudra Bhaiya come together.
As the group plans to kill Stree, Vicky hesitates realising that Stree only seeks love and respect.
Upon Shraddha’s suggestion, he ends up cutting Stree's long braid, the source of her power.
The concluding shot showed Shraddha merging the witches’ braid with her tresses.
