Hollywood IT couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are divorcing after two years of marriage. Lopez filed for divorce on Tuesday in the LA County Superior Court.
Popularly known as ‘Bennifer’, they formally tied the knot in Las Vegas in July 2022 and held a larger wedding ceremony in Georgia the following month.
They first met on the set of 2003 rom-com Gigli, and were speculated to date. JLo was married to her second husband Cris Judd back then.
She parted ways with Judd in 2003 and soon after went public with her relationship with Ben Affleck.
Sparks might have flown while the duo filmed steamy scenes for JLo’s iconic 2002 music video Jenny From the Block.
They originally planned to marry in 2003 but called off their relationship four days before the big day.
Almost two decades later, they got together again and became one of Hollywood’s favorite couples.
However, lately, things have not been well between them. There have been months of speculation over their strained relation.
They reportedly put their Beverly Hills mansion up for sale at $65 million (₹545 crores) and were pictured separately not wearing their wedding rings.
