Healthy One Pot Dal Rasam Rice Recipe

   Ingredients    1/2 cup rice    3/4th cup dal    1-2 tomatoes    1 lemon sized tamarind    1 tsp pepper corn    1/2 tsp cumin    4-5 garlic cloves    3-4 dry red chillies    1/2 tsp turmeric    Salt as per taste    1-2 tsp oil/ghee

Soak dal, rice and tamarind.

Next pound the spices in a blender.

Add the spices to a pressure cooker and sauté for a minute.

Next add tomatoes and turmeric powder.

Once the tomatoes are cooked, add rest of the ingredients with water.

Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles on medium flame.

Add chopped coriander leaves and mash it all well. Serve it hot.
