After updating, open the app on your phone or tablet.

Once the app is up and running, select “Edit profile” from the Profile tab

Search for your favourite song from the library or using the “For You” section.

As you can only add 30-seconds of music, choose the 30-seconds of your choice from the selected song.

Steps to add song to your profile

Make sure to download the latest version of Instagram app via Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Update your Instagram profile

After updating, open the app on your phone or tablet.

Open Instagram app

Once the app is up and running, select “Edit profile” from the Profile tab

Edit your profile

Tap on the “Add music to your profile” option.

Add music

Search for your favourite song from the library or using the “For You” section.

Find your song

As you can only add 30-seconds of music, choose the 30-seconds of your choice from the selected song.

Crop the 30-seconds

Once you follow all the steps mentioned above, the selected music will be displayed on your profile.
