Pakistan Share Unwanted Record With India After 1st Test Loss Against Bangladesh

Pakistan have matched an unwanted record that India set 48 years ago.

The Pakistan cricket team lost the 1st Test against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi.

Despite declaring their first innings at 448/6, Bangladesh secured a 117-run lead.

The visitors, eventually, won the match in a convincing fashion.

Bangladesh claimed a win by 10 wickets.

Pakistan became only the second team to endure such a defeat in Test history.

The first team to concede a  10-wicket loss after declaring their first innings are India.

In 1976, India took on the West Indies in Kingston.

The 4th Test of the series saw the visitors rack up 306/6 before declaring the first innings.

India were blown away in the second innings as the hosts dismissed them for 97.
