Tasty And Simple South Indian Rava Dosa Recipe

 Paper thin dosas made with semolina or sooji, pair this yummy treat with coconut chutney and comforting sambar. Try this tasty and simple rava dosa recipe at home.

Ingredients Sooji (semolina) - 1 cup Rice flour or plain flour - 1/2 cup Oil - 1 tbsp Soda bicarb - 1/8 tsp Buttermilk - 2.5 cup Coriander leaves, chopped - 1 tsp Green chillies - 2

Step 1 Blend all the ingredients together. Add more buttermilk if needed.

 Step 2 The batter should be relatively thin (pouring consistency). Adjust the salt according to the taste.

Step 3 Heat griddle, sprinkle some water till it sizzles and quickly pour a large spoon of batter on it. Spread by gently rotating the griddle. Lower the heat and when the edges begin to rise or brown, put some oil over dosa and trail some around it.

 Step 4 When the edges begin to rise, ease out the dosa.

 Step 5 Roll the dosa in a three-fold cylinder. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
