Vegan Modak Recipe

Ingredients: 2 cups coconut, 1/2 cup almond milk, 1/3 cup jaggery powder, 1 tsp cardamom powder,

Ingredients: 1/4 tsp saffron (optional), 1 tbsp coconut oil, 1 tbsp white sesame seeds, 1 tbsp peanuts

Dry roast peanuts and sesame seeds. Blend them into a coarse powder.

Heat coconut oil in a pan. Add coconut and sauté on low heat.

Pour in almond milk, jaggery powder, and saffron.

 Mix in the peanut-sesame powder. Turn off heat and let the mixture cool slightly.

Grease a modak mold, fill it with the mixture, and press gently. Vegan Modaks are ready to serve.
