Simple And Easy Idli Podi Recipe

Ingredients: ¼ cup chana dal, ¼ cup urad dal, ¼ cup sesame seeds, 1 tsp jeera, 8-12 dried red chillies

Ingredients: ¼ cup dried coconut, 3 sprigs curry leaves, 2 garlic cloves, salt, asafetida

Dry roast chana dal, urad dal, sesame seeds, red chillies, cumin seeds, garlic cloves, curry leaves, and coconut separately.

Grind red chillies, curry leaves, and salt to a fine powder.

Grind dal, cumin, and sesame in the same jar.

Add coconut and garlic and grind again.

Taste for salt. Adjust the heat with red chilli powder or pepper. Store in an airtight jar.
