Easy South Indian Onion Tamarind Chutney Recipe

Ingredients: Onions, tamarind, dried red chilies, mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, oil, and salt

Heat oil in a pan and add dried red chilies, sauté for a minute.

Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add tamarind and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Let the mixture cool, then blend into a smooth chutney.

Heat oil, add mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves for tempering.

Pour the tempering over the chutney and mix well. Serve with dosa, idli, or rice.
