We take a look at all Tests that have been called off without a ball bowled so far 

This was the first-ever international match to be washed out due to rain, with the captains not even walking out for toss 

AUS vs ENG, Old Trafford, 1890

Another match that was called off due to rain was a Test between Australia and England at MCG. This match was later played in a one-day format 

AUS vs ENG, Melbourne, 1970

NZ vs PAK, Dunedin, 1989 

Heavy rain in Dunedin meant no play was possible. This match was played as an ODI later 

WI vs ENG, Guyana, 1990

Persistent rain in Guyana washed out first four days of this Test. An ODI was played on the fifth day 

PAK vs ZIM, Faisalabad, 1998

Both Pakistan and Zimbabwe failed to announce teams for the Test and the match was called off 

NZ vs IND, Dunedin , 1998

This Test between New Zealand and India was called off on Day 3. On Day 4, an unofficial one-day was played
