Delicious Mushroom Momo Recipe For Vegetarians

2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup warm water 1 tablespoon oil Ingredients for the filling 1 cup mixed mushrooms (shitake, button) 1/4 cup truffle oil 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 cup chopped spring onion Salt and pepper to taste

Ingredients for the dough

In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the warm water and oil and mix until a dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and cook until browned. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

In a bowl, combine the cooked mushrooms, truffle oil, Parmesan cheese, garlic, spring onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a thin sheet. Cut out circles using a cookie cutter or a glass. Place a spoonful of the filling in the centre of each circle.

Fold the dough over the filling and pleat the edges together to seal.

Steam the dumpling for 10-15 minutes, or until cooked through.

Serve hot with your favourite dipping sauce.
