Brown Rice Kheer Recipe

1/2 cup brown rice, 4 cups milk, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 tsp cardamom powder, 10-12 cashews, almonds, 8-10 raisins, 1 tbsp ghee

Heat ghee in a pan and roast nuts and raisins. Set aside.

In the same pan, add soaked brown rice and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

Add milk and cook on low heat until rice is soft and creamy.

Stir occasionally to avoid sticking. Add sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well.

Cook for another 5-10 minutes until the kheer thickens. Garnish with roasted nuts and raisins. Serve warm or chilled.
