India’s Highest  Run-Scorers In Each Edition Of WTC

Ajinkya Rahane is India’s highest run scorer in one edition of the World Test Championship.

Rahane scored 1159 runs in the inaugural season of the WTC.

Rohit Sharma was in the second position during that period.

The India skipper had claimed 1094 runs in the 2019-21 edition of the WTC.

Virat Kohli (934 runs) finished at the 3rd spot.

Mayank Agarwal came next with 857 runs under his belt.

Cheteshwar Pujara finished  16 runs short of Agarwal’s tally.

Rishabh Pant capped off the first season of the WTC with 707 runs.

In the ongoing edition of the WTC, Yashasvi Jaiswal is India’s highest run scorer.

The young opening batter has scored 1028 runs in 9 Tests.
