Tasty Homemade Fig And Walnut Kulfi Recipe

Ingredients to make the fig paste    5-6 figs    7-8 walnuts    Hot water, to soak    2-3 tbsp milk

Other ingredients     1 litre milk    1 cup sugar, adjustable    6-7 saffron strands, soaked in 1 tbsp water    1 tbsp walnuts, chopped    1 tbsp dried rose petals

Soak fig and walnuts in hot water for an hour. Once done, drain the water and grind into a smooth paste with milk. Keep aside.

Heat milk and sugar in a pan. Let it cook on low heat till it reduces the consistency to half. Stir continuously so that it doesn’t stick at the bottom.

Add the anjeer-walnut paste, saffron-soaked water and cook for 8-10 minutes on low heat.

Once you reach a creamy consistency, add walnuts, dried rose petals and mix well.

Add into containers and freeze overnight. Enjoy!
