The BMW CE 02 electric scooter has launched in India with a price tag of ₹4,49,900 (ex-showroom), offering a unique design and practical features for urban riders.
With minimal bodywork, the CE 02 stands out with its LED headlamp and a 3.5-inch TFT instrument console. Its single-piece flat seat sits at a low 745 mm height.
The CE 02 is built on a double-loop tubular steel frame, weighing 142 kg. Its lightweight structure ensures agility, ideal for urban commutes, with robust handling capabilities.
The Highline package enhances the CE 02’s aesthetics with gold anodized forks and Petrol colour accents. It includes extras like Bluetooth, heated grips, and a quick charger.
2 lithium-ion batteries, offering a combined capacity of 3.9 kWh, power an 11 kW motor. The CE 02 accelerates from 0-50 km/h in 3 seconds, with a top speed of 95 km/h.
The standard 0.9 kW charger charges the CE 02’s battery from 20% to 80% in 102 minutes using the optional 1.5 kW quick charger, reducing downtime during longer rides.
The scooter offers Flow and Surf riding modes, optimised for city and dynamic riding. The Flash mode, available with the Highline package, adds sporty performance.
The 3.5-inch TFT display shows essential information like speed and battery level. It also features a USB-C charging port and Bluetooth connectivity.
With Keyless Ride, reverse mode, and adjustable hand levers, the CE 02 prioritises ease of use. Its stability control maintains ride balance even during overrun mode.
The CE 02 is equipped with front-wheel ABS, Automatic Stability Control, and Recuperation Stability Control, ensuring safety and traction in urban environments.
