Chicken Changezi is a classic North Indian dish with its roots in the Mughal era. Here's a step-by-step guide to making this tasty chicken dish at home.
Ingredients
Chicken breast - 500 gm
Olive oil - 2 tbsp
Onion, finely chopped - 1
Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tsp
Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
Greek yoghurt - 1/2 cup
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala - 1 tsp
Kasoori methi - 1 tbsp
Cashew paste - 1/4 cup
Fresh coriander leaves - For garnishing
Step 1
Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions for a few minutes. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another few minutes.
Step 2
Stir in the tomato puree and cook until the oil starts to separate. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they turn white on all sides.
Step 3
Mix in the Greek yogurt and cook for a while. Add the red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, chaat masala, crushed kasoori methi, garam masala, and salt.
Step 4
Pour in the cashew paste and simmer it for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

Serve it hot with naan, roti, or steamed rice.
