Kachori is an all-time favorite snack that can be made with different ingredients. Try this tasty and healthy sattu ki kachori recipe at home.
Ingredients Sattu - 1.5 cup All-purpose flour - 1 cup Fennel Seeds - 1 tsp Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp Onion, finely chopped - 1 Green chilli and ginger paste - 1 tbsp Red chili powder - 1 tsp Coriander Powder - 1 tsp Turmeric - 1 tsp Salt - As per taste Chaat masla - 1/2 tsp Aamchoor powder - 1 tsp Carom Seeds - 1 tsp Lemon Juice - 2 tsp Ghee - 3 tbsp Oil - For frying
Step 1 Take flour in a bowl, add salt, celery and ghee to it and mix well. Knead a soft dough using water as required.
Step 2 Heat some ghee in a pan. Add cumin, fennel and asafoetida. Add chopped onion and fry, along with this add ginger and chilli paste.
Step 3 Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, chaat masala, mango powder and turmeric and mix. Add sattu to it and mix. Sattu should mix well with the spices.
Step 4 Add lemon juice and mix. Add green coriander, mix it, turn off the flame, and let it cool.
Step 5 Make balls from the dough, fill them with stuffing as per requirement, and roll them gently.
Step 6 Heat oil in a kadhai and fry the kachoris until they become crispy golden brown. Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.
