Have you ever tried egg benjo? If not, then try this tasty and desi recipe.
Ingredients
Eggs - 4
Pav - 2
Onion, finely chopped - 1
Tomato, finely chopped - 1
Green chillies, finely chopped - 2
Coriander leaves, chopped - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Jeeravan masala - 1 tsp
Salt - As per taste
Butter - As required
Red and green chutney - As needed
Step 1
Break the eggs in a bowl and whisk well. Add onion, tomato, green chillies, coriander leaves, turmeric, Kashmiri red chilli and salt. Whisk well.
Step 2
Heat some butter in a pan and fry the omelette. Cut the omelette into half and keep it aside.
Step 3
Cut the pav from the centre and toast with some butter.
Step 4
Add green chutney, red chutney, and one-half of the omelette.
Step 5
Sprinkle some jeeravan masala on the top, and close it with the other half of the pav. Serve hot.
