Tasty Samak Rice Dosa Recipe

Ingredients

Sabudana - ¼ cup  Samak rice - ½ cup Potatoboiled and diced - 1 Green chilli - 2      Ginger - 2 inch      Curd - 2 tbsp      Sendha namak to taste     Water - 1.5 cups      Extra water - ¼ cup for adjusting batter consistency Cumin seeds - 1 tsp      Black pepper powder - 1-2 tsp Handful of fresh coriander finely chopped      Ghee as required

Set a pan over high heat; let it get hot, then lower the flame and add the sabudana.

Dry roast over medium to low flame for a couple of minutes, then add samak rice and roast for another 1 minute. Transfer the mix to a bowl and cool it down completely.

Once cooled add the mix in a grinder jar and then add boiled potato, curd, sendha namak and water. Grind it into a fine batter and transfer it into a bowl. Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Once the batter has rested, add water to adjust the consistency as it will thicken up after resting.

Now add cumin seeds, black pepper powder, green chilli, grated ginger & fresh coriander and stir well.

Next, set a dosa tawa or a small nonstick pan over high flame & let it get extremely hot. Pour the batter using a ladle and cover the surface of the pan.

Once you have poured the batter, set the flame to low & add ghee over the surface & cook the dosa over low flame.

Once the dosa turns brown, add the crumbled paneer mix, fold and remove from the pan.

Serve it hot with chutney of your choice.
