Yummy Sabudana Kheer Recipe For The Festive Season

   Ingredients    1 cup sabudana    1 cup water    1 tbsp ghee    2 tbsp chopped cashews    2 tbsp chopped almonds    2 tbsp chopped pistachios    1 cup soaked sabudana    4 cups milk    8-10 strands of kesar    1 tsp elaichi    1/2 cup sugar

Start by soaking 1 cup sabudana in water and let it sit for 1-2 hours.

⁠To make the kheer, set a kadhai on low to medium heat and add ghee along with chopped cashews, almonds and pistachios.

⁠Roast the nuts for 3-4 minutes, until they are golden and fragrant. Once roasted, remove them from the kadhai and set it aside.

⁠In the same kadhai add soaked sabudana, milk, kesar strands and cardamom powder.

Cook it on low to medium heat for 10-12 minutes or till the milk reduces and kheer starts to thickens. Make sure to continuously stir the kheer.

⁠Lastly add sugar and mix it well till all the sugar is dissolved.

⁠Garnish the kheer with chopped nuts and serve it warm or cold.
