Andhra-style Tomato Peanut Chutney is a flavourful condiment that adds a spicy kick to any meal. Here are some steps for making Andhra-style Tomato Peanut Chutney at home.
Step 1
Heat some oil in a small pan. Add asafoetida, peanuts, onions, and roughly chopped garlic and ginger. Mix everything for a few seconds.
Step 2
Add in a few curry leaves, chopped tomatoes, salt, and Kashmiri chilli powder. Let it cook until the tomatoes become soft.
Step 3
Once the mixture is ready, transfer it to a blender and blend until smooth.
Step 4
For the tadka, heat some oil in a separate small pan. Add mustard seeds, urad dal, and a few curry leaves. Let it cook until the mustard seeds crackle.
