NITI Aayog’s Export Preparedness Index 2022; Tamil Nadu tops the list

NITI Aayog has released the third edition of the Export Preparedness Index 2022, which evaluates the performance of states and UTs across four pillars of export preparedness.

The report reveals that Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Gujarat are the top-performing states, while Lakshadweep, Mizoram, Dadra Nagar and Haveli & Daman and Diu are the worst-performing UTs and states.

Top 5 Indian states as per NITI Aayog’s Export Preparedness Index 2022:

Tamil Nadu scored 80.89 and ranked first among Indian states.

Maharashtra scored 78.20 and ranked second among Indian states.

Karnataka scored 76.36 and ranked third among Indian states.

Gujarat scored 73.22 and ranked 4th among Indian states.

Haryana scored 63.65 and ranked 5th among states in India.

Bottom 5 Indian states and UTs as per NITI Aayog’s Export Preparedness Index 2022:

Meghalaya scored 24.24 and ranked 32nd among Indian UT/States.

Arunachal Pradesh scored 19.92 and ranked 33rd among Indian UT/States.

Dadra Nagar and Haveli & Daman and Diu scored 18.74 and ranked 34th among UT/Small States.

Mizoram scored 16.96 and ranked 35th among Indian UT/Small States.

Lakshadweep scored 11.30 and ranked 36th among UT/Small States.
