Tasty South Indian Beetroot Dosa Recipe

Ingredients

½ cup beetroot 1 cup rice flour ¼ cup semolina, coarse ¾ tsp salt 3 cups water ½ onion, finely chopped 2 chilli, finely chopped 2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped Few curry leaves, chopped 1 tsp cumin Water, for batterOil, for roasting

Grind the beetroot with ½ cup water to a smooth paste.

Transfer the paste to a large bowl. And add 1 cup rice flour, ¼ cup rava, ¾ tsp salt, and 3 cups water. Mix well.

Now add ½ onion, 2 chillis, 2 tbsp coriander, few curry leaves, and 1 tsp cumin. Mix well and rest for 10 minutes for the rava to soak well.

After 10 minutes, you can adjust the consistency by adding water if required.

Heat a pan; when it is super hot, pour the batter on the pan. Spread 1 tsp oil and allow to roast for 2 minutes or until the dosa turns crisp.

Finally, serve the beetroot dosa with chutney of your choice.
