It is crucial to identify your variety as the first stage because strawberries have a variety of traits.

Select a location with direct sunlight, till your planting bed to a depth of at least six inches, and incorporate two inches of premium compost.

Strawberry plants can be purchased as bare root bundles or as container-grown plants. Before planting, trim bare roots to a length of about four inches.

Applying an organic fertiliser, like a fish emulsion, every other month will benefit your strawberries.

Every week, strawberries require approximately an inch of water, especially when the fruit ripens.

The plant's lower, older leaves become yellow and stunted due to verticillium.

During their first year in the ground, your berries will sprout buds.

Strawberries can be harvested after blossoming in around 30 days in mild weather (less if it's hot, more if it's chilly and gloomy).
