6 Tips for Caring for Growing Mushrooms

There are unique requirements for temperature and humidity for many types of mushrooms. 

Fresh air exchange is necessary for mushroom growth and to prevent carbon dioxide buildup.

While the majority of mushrooms don't require direct sunshine, they do need some indirect light. 

Moisture is necessary for mushrooms to thrive, however too much moisture can cause contamination and mould.

To reduce the danger of contamination, properly wash your hands before handling mushroom growing supplies, and protect yourself with gloves and a mask. 

When your mushrooms are the right size but before they begin to produce spores, harvest them.
