Union Ministers Amit Shah, S Jaishankar, Nitin Gadkari to Piyush Goyal & other top officials attended the 3rd edition of the 2023 Rising India Summit on Day 1, which is being held to felicitate real heroes. Here's a look at who said what at the mega event.

During the summit, Amit Shah said that there's no vendetta politics involved in Rahul Gandhi's disqualification from Lok Sabha.

Speaking to MD and Group Editor-in-Chief of NW18, Rahul Joshi, Shah said that Rahul Gandhi should read Indira Gandhi's speech on Veer Savarkar.

Jaishankar said that there is unfinished work on LAC, as he struck an optimistic note about India's relations with China which have been strained since the Galwan clash of '20. 

During the summit, Piyush Goyal said that 'PM Modi Stands Out as Hero No 1'.

The Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal called EAM  Jaishankar a "rockstar". 'You're A Rockstar, Boss', Goyal told Jaishankar at the Rising India Summit .

Speaking at the Rising India Summit, Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan said that there is no dispute over the National Education Policy (NEP), but added that 4 or 5 states have political differences on it.

Highlighting the issues related to road safety, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari said that “people have no fear or respect for laws”.

Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya shared the story behind India's vaccine struggle, and groundbreaking developments in indigenous science.

During the summit, Oscar Winner Guneet Monga talked about celebrating rejection, and her passion for storytelling. She also added that SRK's life inspired her to move from Delhi to Mumbai.

Abhay Bhutada, MD, Poonawalla Fincorp durin the opening addresssaid that, "India stands out as a beacon of hope."

Additionally, Shereen Bhan from CNBCTV18 interacted with Boat CMO and co-founder Aman Gupta, B.V.R. Subrahmanyam from NITI AAYOG, and others.
