Google Wants to End Passwords:
Here's How
Google is looking to end the use of passowrds for its users on the internet.
The company has started using passkeys as an alternative to passwordless logins.
Passkeys are said to be 40 percent faster and more secure than passwords as per Google.
Google confirms that passkeys can be used as default sign-in option.
So, the next time you try to login, Google will suggest using passkey.
Passkey is already available on apps like Chrome for passwordless logins.
Google confirmed that Uber, WhatsApp and more third-party apps will support it soon.
Passkeys are also being integrated by Apple and Microsoft for a password-less future.
Soon you won't need to remember passwords for all your accounts.
