Virat Kohli Overtakes  Sanath Jayasuriya In ODIs

Virat Kohli is in imperious form in the World Cup and guided India to a famous win against New Zealand.

His 95 helped India win the match by 4 wickets to top the table.

With his knock in Dharamsala, Kohli has overtaken Sri Lanka’s Sanath Jayasuriya.

Jayasuria took 433 innings to reach 13,430 runs, Kohli has 13,437 in just 274 innings.

Kohli is 4th spot in the all-time list.

The Indian superstar needs just 267 runs to overtake Ricky Ponting.

Sachin Tendulkar tops the list with 18,426 runs.

Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakarra is at the second spot with 14,234 runs.

Virat Kohli also needs just one ton to equal Tenduklar’s record of 49.

Kohli came close to it in Dharamsala but got out for 95.
