Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023: The big names to watch out for

The Congress has fielded Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot from Sardarpura for the Rajasthan Assembly election to be held on 25 November.

Sachin Pilot, former deputy CM and Congress leader, has been fielded from Tonk, a constituency he won last time in 2018.

The former state BJP president will be contesting from Amber, the seat he currently represents in the state Assembly.

The Congress leader, also the son of former RPCC executive president, Abrar Ahmed, is contesting from Sawai Madhopur.

BJP leader and former MP Jyoti Mirdha, hailing from the family of veteran Jat leader Nathuram Mirdha, has been nominated from Nagaur constituency.

BJP has decided to field the son-in-law of former vice-president of India Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, from Chittorgarh.

The descendant of Maharana Pratap Singh, who joined the party recently, has been field from Nathdwara. The seat was earlier won by CP Joshi in 2018.
