The results of the Civil Service Examinations 2023 were released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today, April 16, 2024.

Among the UPSC CSE 2023 candidates, Aditya Srivastava stood out as the top performer, achieving All India Rank 1.

Aditya Srivastava, a Lucknow native, started his exam preparation in October 2017 with a focus on getting ready for the civil exam. 

His first significant achievement came from being chosen for the Indian Police Service (IPS) in the 2022 UPSC CSE exam. That year, he ranked 216th in the nation.

At present, Srivastava is undergoing training to become an IPS officer belonging to the Bengal cadre. 

Aditya Srivastava continued to study for the UPSC CSE 2023 exam in addition to his IPS training.

His effort paid off when he topped the nation in UPSC Civil Services in 2023.

Aditya Srivastava’s educational roots trace back to the Mawaiya area of ​​Lucknow after which he joined City Montessori School, Aliganj, where he completed his Class 12.

Having completed his high school education, Aditya went on to qualify for the IIT Kanpur B.Tech programme. After finishing his B.Tech, he worked for several private companies.

Aditya’s younger sister is also working towards joining the civil services. His father is an AO in the Central Audit Department, and his mother, Abha Srivastava, is a housewife.
