10 Tips To Grow Lemon Tree In A Pot

Choose a pot that is at least 25% bigger than the roots of the plant.

Preferably, choose a clay pot over plastic.

Use a well-draining potting mix with a lot of organic matter and aged manure.

Citrus plants require 7-8 hours of sunlight. Place the pot where it'll get ample sunlight.

The lemon tree requires regular watering to grow healthy fruits. 

The tree also prefers humidity. You can either place the pot on a plate of pebbles or use a humidifier.

Re-pot your lemon tree every few years. Winter is the best time to do so.

Prune the dead or diseased leaves from time to time.

Lemon tree, like other citrus plants, like fertilizers. Use citrus fertilizers for their optimum growth.

Pests like mealybugs, spider mites, and aphids are attracted toward the plant. If infested, you can apply neem oil.
