1

Baking Soda and Water

Make a thick paste by mixing baking soda and water. Apply the paste to the jewellery and gently scrub with a soft toothbrush.

2

Vinegar and Salt

Mix equal parts white vinegar and table salt to form a paste. Apply it to the gold jewellery and let it sit for about 15 minutes, before rinsing.

3

Ammonia Solution

Mix one part ammonia with six parts water in a bowl. Soak the gold jewellery for one minute, before rinsing.

4

Lemon Juice

Clean the jewellery with fresh squeezed lemon juice. Rinse with water and pat dry.

5

Toothpaste

Apply a small amount of non-abrasive toothpaste to the jewellery, then rinse it off.

6

Baby Shampoo

Mix a few drops of baby shampoo with warm water. Soak the jewellery for a few minutes and rinse off.
