On the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan, people indulge in all sorts of sweets. But, have you ever tried protein ladoos? Try these 3 protein ladoo recipes for Rakhi celebrations.
Dry Fruit Ladoo Ingredients: Dry fruits and nuts - 50 gm Dates - 10 Melted jaggery - 1 tbsp
Dry roast dry fruits in a pan and blend them into a coarse mixture. Remove the pulp of dates and blend it to paste. Mix this date pulp with the dry fruit and nut mixture to form ladoos. Use melted jaggery to bind the ladoos.
Coconut and Protein Ladoo Ingredients: Milk - 20 ml Ghee - 1 tbsp Whey protein - 1 scoop Ground coconut - 40 gm
Mix all the ingredients. Make a dough out of it. Now, make small bite-size ladoos out of the mix.
Oats and til ladoo Ingredients: Oats - 1 cup Sesame seeds - 1/4 cup Flax seeds - 1/4 cup Black raisins - 2 tbsp Jaggery powder - 1/4 cup Soft dates - 1 cup Cardamom - 1/2 tsp Warm milk - 3 tbsp
Dry roast sesame seeds and flax seeds for some time. In the same pan, dry roast oats. Mix oats and sesame flax seeds mixture. Coarsely grind the mixture. Add jaggery powder, soft dates, and cardamom and grind again. Transfer the mix to a bowl and add black raisins and warm milk. Mix everything well and make ladoos.
