Peda is a well-known Indian sweet native to Uttar Pradesh. Here's a step-by-step guide to making peda at home with just four ingredients.
Khoya - 1/2 kg Ghee - 60 gm Powdered sugar - 1/2 kg Elaichi powder - 1/4 tsp
Make fresh khoya at home by continuously boiling and stirring milk till it becomes thick. The khoya is cooked when milk becomes dry-lump-like.
Put the ghee and khoya in a pan and saute till brown.
Mix in the elaichi powder and let it cool.
When cooled down, mix in the sugar till well blended.
Form into desired sized rounds and serve.
