5 Blockbuster Films R Madhavan Said 'No' To

R Madhavan's recently released film Shaitaan, co-starring Ajay Devgn and Jyotika is garnering attention. However, the National Award-winning actor had turned down several blockbuster projects in the past. Here are a few of them.

Kaakha Kaakha (2003)

Reportedly, Gautham Vasudev Menon had approached R Madhavan with the script of Kaakha Kaakha, but the latter passed the project due to unknown reasons.

Ghajini (2005)

R Madhavan was the first choice for A. R. Murugadoss' 2005 blockbuster Ghajini. In an Instagram live session with Suriya, the former revealed that he was offered the leading role in the Tamil film, but he wasn't happy with the second half of the film.

My Name Is Khan (2010)

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer My Name Is Khan is another blockbuster film turned down by R Madhavan. According to online reports, the actor was gearing up for his role in Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots when the makers of the Karan Johar directorial offered him the film.

Nanban (2012)

The actor was offered the opportunity to reprise his role of Farhan Qureshi from 3 Idiots in its Tamil remake in 2012, however, he rejected the offer as he wasn't comfortable being a part of the remake.

Fanney Khan (2018)

The makers of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Fanney Khan had approached R Madhavan to play an important role in the musical comedy but the latter turned down the opportunity due to schedule conflicts.
