Termed as “Incredible India”, India is indeed an incredible country which has some of the most beautiful natural wonders.

From snow-capped mountains to beaches, from beautiful rivers to waterfalls, the land is replete with fabulous natural attractions.

Spread across the length and breadth of the country are some stunning waterfalls.

Here's a list of our top five.

Athirappally Falls: Cited as the ‘Niagara Falls of India’, these are nestled in the beautiful and aesthetic state of Kerala, located 60 kilometres from Thissur District.

Jogini Falls: ‘A trek on the mountains passing through vast expanse of grasslands and leading to one of the most gorgeous waterfalls’ – if this is what your idea of a perfect holiday,  get ready to travel to Manali, and then from the Vashishtha temple you can take the trail leading to the falls.

Dhuandhar Falls: Known as ‘the smoke cascade’, the falls in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh is an absolute delight to watch. There is also a cable car which connects the East Bank to the West Bank of the Narmada River which gets you up, close and personal to this nature’s marvel.

Jog Falls: Located at a height of 253 metres in the Shimoga district of Karnataka, the Jog waterfalls are surrounded by surreal grasslands and are the 2nd highest waterfalls in India.
