5 Countries Where You Have to Pay for Facebook

Meta is finally going to charge a fee for Facebook and Instagram users.

The company has confirmed the new monthly fee for these users in the EU countries.

Meta is making these changes to comply with the new EU regulations which doesn't allow the company to serve ads to users

Meta claims showing ads helps the company to help other businesses grow.

So if users in these five countries want to stop seeing ads on Facebook and Instagram they can pay a monthly fee.

Users have to pay EUR 9.99 on the web, while those signing up on mobile pay EUR 12.99 every month.

Meta says that free users will not see any changes to their experience on Facebook and Instagram.

The five countries where the new plan is applicable are EU, EEA which has the likes of Austria, Belgium, Denmark and Switzerland.

Meta is unlikely to bring these plans for users in India anytime soon.
