Coconut chutney is a popular condiment in South Indian cuisine. Here are some delicious coconut chutney recipes that you must try.
Take grated coconut, green chillies, ginger, salt, and tamarind pulp and grind them together to form a paste. Add coconut oil to the paste and stir well.
Grind chopped raw mangoes, grated coconut, smoked red chillies, cumin seeds, and some salt. Add coconut oil last, stir it well, and serve.
Roast some peanuts in a pan. Let it cool down and remove the skin from the peanuts. Heat some oil in a pan, add garlic, red chilli, onions, tamarind, salt, and jaggery. Add all these ingredients in a blender. Add some tadka using oil, red chilli, and curry leaves and pour on top of the chutney.
Grind grated coconut, ginger, green chillies, tamarind, and salt. Add some coconut oil to it later, mix it well, and serve.
Blend together diced onions and tomatoes to make a puree. Add grated coconut (freshly grated), whole red chillies, red chilli powder, salt, lime juice, and grind again. Prepare tempering for the chutney by frying mustard seeds, hing, curry leaves, and chana dal in oil. Pour it over the chutney and serve.
