Tea tree oil: Tea tree is known for its powerful antibacterial and antifungal properties and can treat persistent dandruff on the scalp. Mix it with another carrier oil before use.
Basil oil: Another oil famous for its antibacterial properties, basil oil may help treat an itchy scalp and also treat hair loss. It is great for reducing dandruff.
Lemongrass oil: In a study, an anti-dandruff hair tonic containing lemongrass was found to relieve symptoms of dandruff and a dry, itchy scalp.
