The holiday season is upon us and there are several exciting releases on OTT platforms that you can stream for entertainment. From the much-awaited “The Archies” directed by Zoya Akhtar to “The Crown” season 6, Part 2, here’s a list of new releases on Netflix, Disney+Hotstar and Amazon Prime Video.
The Archies: Set in 1960s India, “The Archies” is a coming-of-age drama directed by Zoya Akhtar. It will release on December 7 on Netflix and marks the debut of Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda. It will also feature the debut of Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda.
The Crown: Season 6, Part 2: “The Crown: Season 6, Part 2” will hit Netlix on December 14. The upcoming instalment will feature the journey of Prince William’s journey at St. Andrews College and the beginning of his love story with Kate Middleton.
Dhootha: “Dhootha”, Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming Telugu original, marks the OTT debut of Naga Chaitanya Akkineni. He plays the role of Sagar, a successful journalist, embroiled in supernatural events. It is a supernatural suspence-thriller directed by Vikram K Kumar with 8 episodes and will release worldwide on December 1.
Pro Kabaddi Season 10: The Pro Kabaddi League, which is returning to the 12-city caravan format for Season 10, will begin on December 2 at the Arena by Transstadia Stadium in Ahmedabad. The landmark season will be broadcast live on the Star Sports Network’s TV channels and will be streaming for free on Disney+Hotstar.
What If…? Season 2: "What If…?" by Marvel Studios gears up for its much-awaited second season which is slated to release on December 22 exclusively on Disney+. The animated series created by A.C. Bradley ran for 9 episodes in the first season that released in 2021. The second season also features the same number of episodes releasing daily until November 30.
