Virupaksha Temple, Pattadakal

Located in the Bagalkot district of Karnataka,  Virupaksha Temple is one of the largest monuments in Pattadakal. It was built by Queen Lokamahadevi in the 8th century to commemorate the victory of her husband Vikramaditya II over the Pallavas.

Itmad Ud Daulah, Agra

The tomb of Itmad Ud Daulah was built by Nur Jahan in memory of her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg, Mughal Emperor Akbar's treasurer.

Rani Ki Vav, Patan

Situated in Patan, Gujarat, Rani ki Vav is built on the banks of the Saraswati River. It was constructed by Rani Udaymati in memory of her husband, King Bhima 1, of the Solanki dynasty.
