Apple is ready to comply with the new rules set by the European Union.

The company is now being forced to open iOS to other apps and features.

These changes will be made available via the iOS 17.4 update in Europe.

One of the biggest changes is the support for sideloading of apps on iOS.

Apple will also make it easy for other payment apps to use its NFC tech for tap to pay.

iPhone users in Europe will also have the option to change their default web browser to Chrome or even Firefox if they don't want Safari.

Fortnite is coming back to iPhones but only for those in Europe, as confirmed by Epic Games.

Apple will also allow developers to use third-party payment systems instead of limiting them to the app store.

Apple will have two versions of the iOS 17.4 update that should be rolled out next month.
