Classic steel-cut oats porridge
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Add oats and salt to the water, and simmer it. Stir occasionally, and cook for some time until creamy.
Apple cinnamon steel-cut oats porridge
Combine oats, water, and milk, and bring it to a boil. Add chopped apple and cinnamon to the mix. Let it simmer until the oats are tender.
Blueberry almond steel-cut oats porridge
Bring water to a boil, add oats, and cook until it is thickened. Add one cup of almond milk, stir it, and add a handful of blueberries and almonds.
Pumpkin spice steel-cut oats porridge
Boil water and add oats. Simmer it until nearly done. Stir in pumpkin puree and pumpkin spice, continue cooking.
