5 Tech Companies That Have Made Work-From-Office Mandatory
The pandemic is well and truly over. Companies who have resorted to remote and hybrid work setup are slowly moving back to the old habits, i.e. having people come to office every week.
These companies are not just based in India but are some of the biggest names in the tech space.
Most brands started informing their employees about the changes from late 2023 but now it has come into full effect.
Here’s a round up of the companies that have made work-from-office mandatory for its employees.
Google: Google revised its hybrid work policy as per reports in 2023, making it mandatory for employees to be in the office for at least three days a week.
Meta: Meta, formerly known as Facebook, had a similar order for its employees to work from the office for three days a week.
TCS: TCS is the India-based tech company that recently changed its policies, making it mandatory for employees to work from office all five days or their appraisals and hikes will suffer.
HCL: HCL is going slightly easier on its employees, asking them to come to the office three days in a week.
Amazon: Amazon is another global tech giant that is discouraging remote or even hybrid work for that matter. The company also wants its employees to work from home a minimum of three days a week.
Infosys: And finally, we have another Indian tech company in the form of Infosys that also wants its workforce to come to office for a minimum of 10 days in a month, which roughly translates into 3 days in a week.
