1. Shavasana

Shavasana is a resting and restorative yoga pose, or asana that is done at the end of the yoga session to let the body cool down. It means corpse pose as people lie face-up flat on the ground with the arms and legs comfortably spread, body relaxed and eyes closed.

2. Anantasana

Anantasana is also known as Sleeping Vishnu Pose, Eternal One’s Pose, or Side-Reclining Leg Lift. It stretches the legs, shoulder muscles, thighs, pelvic floor muscles, biceps, groin, triceps and entire body. It is beneficial in relieving stress and calms the mind.

3. Balasana

Balasana is a child’s pose that is yet another restorative pose that helps in calming the mind, grounding and has relaxing effects. It gently stretches the lower back, hips, thighs and calms the mind and helps alleviate stress.

4. Pada Sanchalanasana

The Pada Sanchalanasana or the cycling pose is an excellent yoga asana for hip and knee joints. Practising this regularly helps in strengthening the abdominal and lower back muscles. Doing the cycling pose aids in digestion as well.

9. Naukasana

Naukasana or Navasana is derived from the Sanskrit word Nauka or Nav which translates to boat and asana means pose. It is known to benefit the lower back, stretch the muscles and help get rid of pain and fatigue as well.
