Tomato prices have skyrocketed across India and they are not expected to go down till mid-August. Since they are an integral part of Indian cuisine, we have a list of desi dishes that can be prepared without them.
Aloo Gobhi is a dish that can be whipped up in less than 15 minutes. It is tasty, healthy and can be paired with roti or dal and rice as well.

A traditional Rajasthani curry made with chickpea flour (besan) in a spicy and tangy yoghurt-based gravy. It can be made when you don’t have any vegetables and tastes great with rice.
We don’t even need to tell you about kadhi. A majority of people are in deep love with this tangy yoghurt-based gravy and cannot get enough of it with rice and papad.
Palak paneer is a classic Indian gravy made with spinach puree, spices and shallow-fried paneer. It is best enjoyed with roti and rice and makes for a healthy meal.
