Oranges

Oranges are rich in vitamin C, so they help in improving the cognitive abilities of the brain and increase its health. Vitamin C present in the fruit protects the cells of the brain from age-related damage.

Pomegranates

Pomegranates have a compound called polyphenol, which makes our brains healthier. It also contains certain antioxidants which protect the brain from Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases.

Strawberries

This sweet and sour fruit contains antioxidants, flavonoids and other nutrients which help in increasing brain energy. It also helps the brain cells communicate better.

Cherries

Cherries contain an antioxidant called C3G, which can stop the effects of neurotoxicity in a developing brain. FYI, the brain does not stop developing till the age of 25.

Guavas

Guava is rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin B3 and Vitamin B6. It also contains polyphenols and carotenoids. These protect the brain from DNA damage and inflammation.

Plums

Plums contain a lot of flavonoid content, and unlike berries it has anthocyanins. It gives protection to the brain from cell damage, toxins and inflammation. It may also help with learning, motor skills and memory.
