Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a CISF constable at Chandigarh airport.
The constable, Kulwinder Kaur, has been suspended and an FIR has been lodged against her.
After the incident, many public figures have come forward to condemn the violence.
Raveena Tandon said it’s time to stand united against “violence and hooliganism".

Terming the CRPF constable's act as illegal, Shekhar Suman said, “No one should have to experience this.”
Veteran actor Anupam Kher felt that “women of India should react to it”.
Shabana Azmi wrote on X, “If security personnel start taking the law into their hands none of us can be safe.”
Uorfi Javed wrote that “violence is never the answer”.
Veteran actor Nana Patekar said the it should not have happened.
