The mild flavour and adaptability of cauliflower make it a staple in kitchens all around the world. Here are seven cauliflower recipes you can try at home.
Cut cauliflower and potatoes and wash them well. Now, heat some oil in a kadhai, add cumin seeds, green chillies, ginger, onion, tomatoes, and other spices like turmeric, red chilli, garam masala, and coriander powder. Add chopped cauliflower and potatoes. Add some water and let it cook on a low flame.
Parboil cauliflower florets in salted water. Mix maida, corn flour, water, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Coat the dried florets in this batter and deep fry them in a kadhai. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped garlic, ginger, and chillies. Make the Manchurian base by combining soy sauce and vinegar. Now, add the dried cauliflower florets and toss them well.
Marinate cauliflower florets in a mix of fragrant spices, extra virgin olive oil, and sour lemon juice. Roast these coated florets in a pan.
Grate cauliflower in a bowl and add chopped coriander leaves, ginger, green chillies, salt, and red chilli powder. Now, prepare a smooth dough for the paratha. Shape it into round balls, and flatten it. Pinch the edges to form a cup, place some gobi filling, and enclose it. Roll out this stuffed ball to smoothen and cook on tawa with some ghee.
Prepare this curry by cooking cauliflower florets and chickpeas in onion, ginger, green chillies, and tomato puree. Add some fragrant spices like coriander, cumin, and fenugreek to enhance the taste.
Take a bowl and add yogurt and lemon juice to it. Add ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, besan, chaat masala, garam masala, turmeric, and cashew paste. Marinate washed and dried cauliflower florets to this mix. Now, pierce them through skewers and cook in the tandoor or bake.
