Hauz Khas Fort

A place steeped in history, the Hauz Khas Fort overlooks the water reservoir (or ‘lake’) and makes for a lovely spot to spend an afternoon. Walk to the adjoining Hauz Khas Village for some food or shopping after you’ve explored the fort.

Sunder Nursery

National Gallery of Modern Art 

Not your usual kind of hangout spot, we know. But the National Gallery of Modern Art is an art-lover’s heaven. Besides, it has a small cafeteria and green lawns for you to relax.

Dilli Haat is an open-air market where you can find gorgeous handicrafts, shawls, kurtas, unique toys, jewellery, furniture and other products from Indian artisans. The states of India are represented not just in Dilli Haat’s  stalls but also its eateries – most of them serve regional cuisine.
